The EL3124 is an EtherCAT terminal with four differential analog input channels, designed to handle current signals in the range of 4 to 20 mA. The current is digitized with a resolution of 16 bits and transmitted in an electrically isolated form to the higher-level automation device. The terminal features differential inputs with a common internal ground potential. It combines four channels in a single housing.

Signal status indicators, implemented through light emitting diodes (LEDs), provide real-time visibility into operational states, aiding in rapid troubleshooting and maintenance. Specific error LEDs are dedicated to flagging overload conditions and broken wires, ensuring swift identification of critical issues affecting signal integrity.
