Description 

The EL7047 EtherCAT Terminal is a 1-channel motion interface for stepper motors. It supports a voltage range of 8 to 48 V DC and a maximum current of 5 A. The terminal incorporates vector control and includes an incremental encoder with 1024 increments per revolution. Two digital inputs for limit switches are also provided. The EL7047 can be parameterized for specific motor and application requirements, offering 64-fold micro-stepping for quiet and precise operation. The terminal can increase its output current to 6.5 A when used with the ZB8610 fan cartridge.

The EL7047 EtherCAT Terminal is designed for the direct connection of stepper motors in the mid-power range, capable of handling currents up to 5 A and operating within a voltage range from 8V to 48V DC. This terminal integrates a compact stepper motor output stage alongside two digital inputs dedicated for limit switches. Through parameterization capabilities, the EL7047 can be finely tuned to meet specific motor and application requirements, ensuring optimal performance. 

Featuring 64-fold micro-stepping, the EL7047 facilitates exceptionally quiet and precise motor operation, crucial for applications demanding accuracy and minimal noise. When paired with compatible stepper motors such as the AS2000 series, the terminal leverages its integrated, torsion-proof encoder (offering 1,024 increments per revolution) to support closed-loop control, enhancing positional accuracy and stability. 

For enhanced performance under continuous operation and full load conditions, the EL7047 supports an increased output current of up to 6.5 A when paired with the ZB8610 fan cartridge. This capability makes it suitable for applications requiring sustained and robust motor operation.
