Information About ANN-RLY
The ANN-RLY is an ANN-Bus accessory module that expands the output capabilities of compatible Fire-Lite fire alarm control systems without requiring conventional relay wiring back to individual panel outputs. It communicates with the host FACP through a two-wire ANN-Bus serial data connection and uses an additional two conductors for 24 VDC power, allowing power and communications to share a single four-conductor unshielded cable. The module can receive operating power directly from a compatible FACP or an approved remote power supply and can be installed within supported panel enclosures using the appropriate mounting location or optional bracket. Up to eight compatible ANN-Bus devices can share an FACP ANN-Bus, allowing the relay module to operate alongside annunciators and other supported ANN-Bus accessories.
Key Features:
- Ten Programmable Relays: Provides 10 individually programmable Form C relay outputs for fire alarm system control and signaling.
- Form C Contacts: Each relay provides normally open, normally closed, and common connections for flexible external circuit interfacing.
- Multiple Relay Functions: Outputs can be assigned to alarm, trouble, supervisory, AC loss, waterflow delay, input zones, silenceable alarm, and other supported panel events.
- ANN-Bus Communication: Uses the Fire-Lite ANN-Bus serial communication format for integration with compatible fire alarm control panels.
- Four-Wire Installation: Requires two conductors for serial data and two conductors for 24 VDC operating power.
- Unshielded Cable Support: Power and communications can be carried over a single four-conductor unshielded cable within installation requirements.
- Flexible Power Source: Can receive 24 VDC from the host fire alarm panel or a compatible remote power supply.
- Multiple Device Support: Up to eight ANN-Bus devices can be connected to each supported FACP ANN-Bus.
- Flexible Installation: Can be mounted within compatible FACP enclosures, including supported chassis or battery-area mounting arrangements.
- Simple Programming: Relay functions are assigned through the compatible host control panel with minimal module-specific configuration.
- Supervised Communication: ANN-Bus integration enables the host system to monitor communications with connected compatible devices.
- Life-Safety Approvals: Designed for listed fire alarm installations with UL, ULC, and FM approvals applicable to supported configurations.
The ANN-RLY delivers the reliability and precision required for programmable relay control, equipment interfacing, and auxiliary signaling in addressable fire alarm systems.
