Description
The Honeywell Ademco GSMVLP5-4G is a GSM radio that creates a second, more reliable path of communication between the L5100 Lynx Touch Control Panel/Keypad and Central Stataion. This voice capable cellular communicator has Two-Way Voice Support and automatic adjusting radio frequency ranging from 2G to 4G. The GSMVLP5-4G features high-speed reporting and eliminates the need for expensive coaxial cabling by utilizing an integrated quad band antenna. A cellular communicator acts as a great fail-safe in the event the control panel's built-in phone dialer is rendered inoperative by a damaged telephone line.

This GSM unit supports 2G, 3G and 4G AT&T cellular signals. This is the only unit that does not rely on AC power in order to function. If you lose power the 3/4G GSM unit will use the backup battery in the LYNX Touch to transmit signals. As long as you have AC power and decent AT&T cellular reception you can setup a cellular security system just about anywhere in the country. Protect you and your family against line cuts on AC, internet and phone.
The GSMVLP5-4G is an optional communication module for use with the Lynx Touch Series (L5100/L5200/L5210) controls, and provides wireless communication. It also supports voice communications.
