The HJA36040 circuit breaker, part of the PowerPacT H series by Schneider Electric, is engineered to safeguard electrical systems against damage from overloads and short circuits. Available with either thermal magnetic or Micrologic electronic trip protection units, the PowerPacT H-Frame circuit breakers offer robust thermal magnetic circuit protection with a substantial breaking capacity of 25kA at 600VAC. This ensures reliable performance under demanding electrical conditions.
Each PowerPacT H-Frame breaker features dual-break rotating contacts, which effectively reduce peak current during short circuit faults, thereby enhancing operational safety. Additionally, all models include an integral push-to-trip button integrated into the cover, allowing for manual tripping of the circuit breaker as needed.
Designed for versatility, PowerPacT H circuit breakers are offered in both 2-pole and 3-pole unit mount configurations, as well as in I-Line constructions. The I-Line variant facilitates straightforward installation and removal in I-Line applications, leveraging I-Line terminations on the line side and mechanical lugs on the load side for efficient connectivity.
