The HON-DACT-DS is a dedicated dialer unit from Honeywell’s fire-life safety communications product line, engineered to interface with compatible fire alarm control panels such as the NOTIFIER ONYX series, INSPIRE series and the Gamewell‑FCI E3/S3 series. It comes in a red surface-mount enclosure and occupies two POTS (plain old telephone service) lines for primary and backup communications. The unit monitors line voltage, seizes the line if needed, sends centrally-station-formatted signals (Contact ID protocol) for alarms, troubles, supervisories and AC power loss, and provides LED status indicators for connectivity and fault conditions.
