Information About IC210EDS001
The protocol supported on this unit is DeviceNet Group 2 Only Slave Device, and the power source is 24 VDC. The dimensions are 38 mm x 90 mm x 58 mm, and the lifecycle is mature. The network data rate is 125K, 250K, or 500K. One communication expansion unit is supported per Durus controller.
The expansion module IC210EDS001 interfaces the Durus controller to a DeviceNet communications bus by operating as a DeviceNet Group II Only Slave device. This expansion module must be the only communications module present if installed in the controller. The following object classes are supported by the DeviceNet Slave Communications Expansion Module: Identity, Router, DeviceNet, Connection, Assembly, Control, Interface, and Application. The latter four object classes are optional.
The network parameters include a baud rate and MAC ID that are set by an 8-bit DIP switch and not from the network. The DeviceNet features of the module include a predefined master-slave connection, an explicit message connection, and a poll ID message connection. Features also include an explicit and I/O message fragment, a duplicate MAC ID check, and a UCMM incapable device. This module does not support bit-strobe I/O message, device heartbeat message, and device shutdown message. The module has a power supply terminal and retractable mounting feet. If the module LED Network Status light turns red, there has been a critical link failure. Communication is not happening on the network because of a module error. If the module LED Module Status light turns red, the module may need to be replaced due to an unrecoverable fault. Flashing red means that the fault is recoverable.
