Information About IC210EMS001
This expansion module is designed for Durus controllers and supports the protocol ModBus Slave. IC210EMS001 has a network data rate of 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, and 57600. The power source is 24 VDC and the lifecycle status is mature. This module’s dimensions are 38 mm x 90 mm x 58 mm. Only one communication expansion unit at a time is supported on the Durus controllers.
Durus controllers use the MODBUS RTU slave protocol to communicate with a controller or another device via built-in RS-485 ports. The expansion module is for controllers that do not have built-in RS-485 ports. Communication rates up to 57,600 bps are provided by the expansion module on an RS-485 interface.
Expansion modules also snap into the DIN rail for easy installation via the expansion connector. To panel mount the expansion module, simply press the latch, plug into the master module, and secure to the panel with two screws.
Under the “SET” menu, “I/O Number: __” is the number of expansion modules attached to the controller. The display shows the status (ON, Not Linked, or Not Set) of the expansion module when viewing expansion inputs and outputs. To set the DIP Switch on the MODBUS Module, remove the power and select the communications parameters by setting the eight-position DIP switch. Restart the module after changing switch positions.
