Information About IC3600LLEB1
The IC3600LLEB1 is a Logic Element Control Board for the Mark I and Mark II series. These series were developed by GE for the management of gas or steam heavy-duty turbines. The MKI was developed and commercially released by GE in 1969. The MKII followed in 1973. Each of these systems has been in continuous use somewhere in the world since their release dates. Although the MKI/MKII have long become obsolete due to the release of more advanced turbine management systems and are no longer supported by the original manufacturer, the original focus on creating systems that were scalable, adaptable, and improved the performance of General Electric’s turbines has allowed these systems to remain sensible management systems.
The IC3600LLEB1 has ten polyester vinyl capacitors on the board. One of these, designated as C2, is mounted horizontally. The other none capacitors are all mounted vertically and are all marked as C1. The board has a single line of transistors, which are all marked Q1. Five lines of diodes populate the board. Many of these are marked with the same designator. Carbon composite resistors populate the board in four lines, with nine resistors per line. These are marked as R1, R2, R3, and R4.
The IC3600LLEB1 is marked with a unique board number. It is marked with the GE round trademark logo. It is also marked with the code 68A989518G1. One edge has been numbered underneath a set of fifty-one pins. The middle pin is marked “+12.”
