Ever since the first Mark I unit was installed in Long Island in 1968, the Mark series has been relied on to control gas turbines efficiently and safely.

The Mark I contains about fifty (50) printed circuit boards (PCBs) per panel. One of the printed circuit boards in the Mark I-II series is the IC3600SCBB1A.

The IC3600SCBB1A features many metal components. A long line of metal prongs can be found along the right edge of the IC3600SCBB1A. These prongs are useful for attaching this PCB to the rest of the Mark system. Forty (40) metal parts which are shaped like cube can be seen aligned in vertical rows on the IC3600SCBB1A. These metal parts are used to help wire the IC3600SCBB1A into the larger Mark system. Seven short white wires link pairs of these metal parts together. There is also one red wire at the top of the IC3600SCBB1A which link together two parts. One small diode is featured on IC3600SCBB1A. This diode is solid red in color. It is located in between two metal parts connected by a metal wire. The IC360SCBB1A features many letters printed on the surface of the circuit board in yellow writing. These letters range from A to Y. Several numbers also appear on the IC3600SCBB1A to help identify the components of the board.
