The IC693ALG220 is a Channel Analog Voltage Input module designed for the Series 90-30 Programmable Logic Controller. It provides four input channels, each capable of converting an analog input signal to a digital signal. The module supports input voltages ranging from -10 to +10 volts and offers a conversion speed of 1 ms per channel, resulting in an overall update rate of 4 ms.

Signal resolution is 12 bits binary, and user data in the %AI registers is in 16-bit 2’s complement format. The module features a limited current input mode with a jumper on the user terminal connector for each channel. The jumper can connect the internal 250 ohm shunt resistor to the circuit, enabling a -40 to +40 mA current input range. Users should monitor input current to prevent self-heating of the input resistor, which could affect current accuracy.
