The embedded CPU features an 80188 processor with a clock speed of 10 MHz, a typical scan rate of 0.6 milliseconds per 1K of Boolean logic, and a maximum user program memory of 12KB (6KB before Release 7). It supports up to 160 %I input points and 160 %Q output points, as well as 64 words for analog input and 32 words for analog output.

The IC693CPU313 baseplate includes one built-in serial port that supports SNP and SNP-X slave protocols. It supports shift register instructions, timer and counter instructions, but it does not support PCM and CCM modules. The unit requires a load power supply of 430 mA at 5V DC. It includes a battery-backed RAM and a super capacitor for memory backup when power is removed. Optional EPROM and EEPROM modules can be used for more secure data storage.

This baseplate operates within a temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit) and is designed to accommodate up to five I/O modules. It also has an additional slot for the power supply module.
