The GE Fanuc IC695CPU315 module is a CPU module for the RX3i PACSystem platforms. The IC695CPU315 CPU is based on a Celeron M microprocessor.

The GE Fanuc IC695CPU315 CPU is a RX3i PacSystems 1.0 Gigahertz Celeron M CPU with 20 MB of user memory. Accessories which can be ordered with the CPU include the IC695ACC302 smart auxiliary battery, the IC693ACC302 normal auxiliary battery, and the IC690RBT001 rechargeable battery. Only GEIP approved auxiliary battery packs should be used with the CPU module. In addition to battery backed RAM, the module also includes 20 MB of NVRAM. The IC695CPU315 CPU reserves 32 kilobits of memory for discrete I/O and 32 kilowords of memory for analog I/O. Up to 512 program blocks, each with a size of 128 KB, are supported. Both high-speed serial and RX3i PCU buses are supported by the CPU module. The IC695CPU315 CPU complies with version 2.2 of the PCI standards.

Two integrated serial ports are provided on the IC695CPU315 CPU module. One port supports RS-232 communication and the other port supports RS-485 communication. Three serial protocols are supported, including the serial I/O, Modbus RTU slave, and SNP protocols. The nominal current consumption of the module at 5 Volts DC is 1.2 Amps and at 3.3 Volts DC, it is 1 Amp. The working temperature range is from 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. The internal clock is rated for a peak drift of 2 seconds per day. The maximum internal timing accuracy is 0.01%. The IC695CPU315 CPU supports auto-located symbolic variables that are allowed to use any amount of user memory. The IC695CPU315 CPU supports most GE Series 90-30 modules and expansion racks. The CPU firmware is field upgradable. The IC695CPU315 CPU complies with the EU RoHS directive 2002/95/EC with relevant exemptions. Applications for the IC695CPU315 CPU include real-time control of application processes and machines.
