Information About IC697MDL753
The IC697MDL753 is a 5/48 Volt DC, 0.5 Amp, Negative Logic, 32-Point Output module belonging to the GE Fanuc 90-70 Series. It features 32 output points divided into two isolated groups of 16 points each. This module supports a rated voltage of either 5 volts DC or 10 to 60 volts DC, facilitating compatibility with a wide range of load requirements characterized by high inrush currents at 10 to 60 volts DC levels. Operating at TTL levels, the outputs cater to diverse applications, including indicators, motor starters, solenoids, and TTL interfaces.
Each logic point on the PLC module is equipped with LED indicators to display its ON-Off status, eliminating the need for jumpers and DIP switches for I/O reference configuration. Module configuration is achieved via Microsoft’s MS-DOS or Windows NT & 95 operating systems using the TCP/IP protocol, supporting a variety of programming devices such as personal computers, PS/2, AT, or IBM.
To handle substantial heat dissipation, the module limits each group's maximum current to 4 Amps. Individual outputs can exceed their long-term current ratings based on their device’s specifications and duration of operation. External ¾ Amp 250-volt fuses, such as Little Fuse 312.750 or Bussmann AGC-3/4, are connected to each output point since the module lacks replaceable fuses.
