Description 

The GE Fanuc IC800VMCE030 is an Encoder Cable designed for use with the GE VersaMotion servo motor control system. It facilitates the feedback connection between servo motors and servo drive units, transmitting the angular position signal generated by the encoder to the servo drive. The cable features secure device connections at both ends: a connector AMP 1-172169-9 (Mate and Lock type) at the motor end and a twenty-terminal connector with locking screws at the servo drive end. Additionally, it utilizes a twisted-shield signal wire with a terminal that should be connected to the ground terminal at the front of the servo drive unit to minimize signal interference. To prevent electric shock from residual voltage within the system, refrain from touching any terminal or cable connected to the servo drive unit after powering off, waiting until all LED indicators are off.
