Product Description P/N: IOM-4411-20
Description
The IOM-4411-20 in the PowerLogic line from Square D (Schneider Electric) is an I/O (Input/Output) module with 5 lines IN and 5 lines OUT.
Technical Specifications
Brand | Schneider Electric |
Part Number | IOM-4411-20 |
Category | PLCs/Machine Control |
Subcategory | VDC Logic I/O Module |
Product Type | I/O Module |
Information About IOM-4411-20
The lines IN include 1 analog input. The lines out include 1 solid-state KYZ pulse output, 3 Form-C relays out, and 1 analog out. The maximum control power burden when the IOM-4411-20 is present is 20VA at 120V and 25VA at 240V. When attached to a compatible circuit monitor the IOM-4411-20 will expand that monitor's capabilities.
As noted above, the IOM-4411-20 has 1 Analog IN and 1 Analog OUT (0-1 mA.) Each of these inputs is wired to accept by default a 0-5 Vdc input. However, by connecting a jumper wire to the appropriate terminals on the input module, the analog input can accept a 4-20 mA signal. The jumper wire connects a calibrated 250-ohm resistor located inside the I/O module into the circuit. Once this is done, when a 4-20 mA current runs through the resistor, the circuit monitor measures an input voltage of 1-5 volts across the resistor.
For event or sequence recording, it is worth noting the IOM-4411-20 timestamps all events with resolution to a millisecond. Also, input changes can be observed in the module's on-board event log. Status inputs can also be designed to control conditional energy.
A relay diagram is located on the back of the IOM-4411-20 for quick reference. Indoor use only, type 1 enclosure. The original manufacturer recommends installation by qualified personnel only.
