Information About IS200BPVAG1B
The IS200BPVAG1B is a PCB (printed circuit board) component created for the Speedtronic Mark VI series by General Electric. The MKVI is built with triple redundant backups on all critical controls and protection parameters, the third of the Speedtronic systems to offer triple redundant controls. Many modules in the MKVI are available in either Simplex or triple redundant form, depending on the size and complexity of the turbine system.
The IS200BPVAG1B is designed as a backplane board that is placed into the base of a rack system. The rack system bisects the card, with the front half of the card still accessible on the outside of the rack. The back half of the card is surrounded by the rack system in such a way that boards inserted into the backplane are supported by the sides of the rack. It is important to note the rack is separate from the IS200BPVAG1B board.
The IS200BPVAG1B is populated with twenty-one board connectors. These are designed to accept different sorts of cards. The front half of the board has two lines of Inputs/Outputs. One line has twenty-one and the other has twenty. These I/Os support the transfer to and from the boards plugged into the backplane.
