Information About IS200BPVCG1B
The IS200BPVCG1B is a component made by General Electric for their Mark VI series. One of the later systems released under the Speedtronic umbrella, the Mark VI is considered a complete solution for the protection, monitoring, and control of gas and steam turbines. It is also an excellent platform for integrating balance-of-plant controls. GE worked to design both the hardware for the Mark VI and the software platforms running in the Windows-based PC HMI/Operator Interface. This integrated design allows for optimum turbine performance. The HMI is loaded with software like CIMPLICITY graphics, which allows for true client-server visualization and control.
The IS200BPVCG1B functions as a backplane board. It is designed to fit into a rack system that will accept and support multiple other boards. The back half of the IS200BPVCG1B, which is populated with 21 backplane connectors, fits into the deeper part of the rack system. The front portion of the board, which is populated with I/O connectors, is left more exposed to allow for the connection of ribbon cables. There are 39 I/O connectors on the front half of the board. These allow for the transfer of data to and from the boards connected to the backplane connectors. The board also includes six resistor network arrays, fourteen stab-on connectors, and thirty components labeled L1 through L30. These are located on the bottom side of the board.
