Information About IS200ECTXG1A
The IS200ECTXG1A model was designed as part of the EX2100e Series of devices. The ECTX model is an Exciter Current Transformer Expansion (ECTX) board that connects with an EX2100e System Interface Board (ESYS). The ECTX model is a daughterboard to the ESYS model and will mount directly on the ESYS motherboard. This model is a Digital Controller and will be connected to a Thyristor system. This model will typically operate on a power supply of 28 VDC.
This model can support a variety of Ethernet local area networks (LAN) communications, such as GE OnSite support, which is used for diagnostics and monitoring, as well as Customer DCS through Modbus remote terminal units.
The IS200ECTXG1A model contains a single isolation current transformer; the purpose of this transformer is to measure generator currents. There is an option for a third CT interface between the EX2100e static excitation controller and the customer generator.
When using the IS200ECTXG1A module and a full set of three current transformers are being used, the ECTX features can supply the CTs to provide EX2100e interfacing to all of the available CTs on the board. As previously mentioned, the ECTX board can be mounted on the ESYS board, and when done, a third CT input can be connected from phase B on the ECTX model.
