The IS200EDCFG1A, part of the EX2100 Excitation Controller Series, functions as an exciter direct current feedback board designed to measure field voltage and field current at the SCR bridge. Integration with the EISB board is essential for operation, facilitated by two fiber-optic cables, each transmitting a single signal. The available cable options include plastic fiber for distances up to ten meters and hard-clad silica fiber for distances up to ninety meters, with a minimum bending radius requirement of one and a half inches. 

Field voltage feedback is consistently measured across the negative terminal of the bridge device and across the positive terminal of the shunt. Upon scaling of voltages alongside jumpered resistors, the signals are directed to a separate amplifier responsible for VCO control.
