Product Description P/N: IS200ESELH1A
Description
The IS200ESELH1A Exciter Selector Board, originally part of General Electric's EX2100 series, is designed to interface with EMIO systems by receiving six logic level pulse signals. These signals are transmitted through a set of six cables to EGPA boards for distribution. When redundancy is required, two IS200ESELH1A boards must be employed simultaneously.

Information About IS200ESELH1A
The IS200ESELH1A Exciter Selector Board, originally manufactured by General Electric under the EX2100 series, plays a crucial role in the operation of excitation systems. Designed to interface with the EMIO (Exciter Main Input/Output), this board receives six logic level pulse signals from the connected EMIO unit. These signals are transmitted through a set of six cables and distributed to EGPA (Exciter Gate Pulse Amplifier) boards within the system.
In scenarios requiring redundant controls, two IS200ESELH1A models must be employed simultaneously to ensure continuous operation and reliability. As an ESEL1 model, this board configuration necessitates only one bridge driver, reflecting its specific role within the broader EX2100 system architecture.
The functionality of the ESEL model is integral to the overall operation of the EX2100 system. It primarily facilitates the transmission of gate pulse signals to the EGPA boards. Upon reception by the EGPA boards, these signals are utilized to control SCR (Silicon Controlled Rectifier) gate firing processes, critical for maintaining stable and precise excitation control in turbine and generator systems.
