Description 

The IS200VPROH2B is a PCB component manufactured by GE for the Mark VI system, a gas and steam turbine management system within the Speedtronic line. Serving as an Emergency Turbine Protection Board, it operates alongside the TPRO and TREG boards as part of the independent overspeed protection system for the Mark VI. 

Featuring three VPRO boards (triple redundant), the IS200VPROH2B controls trip solenoids through the TREG board, separate from the turbine control system. It integrates nine thermocouple inputs for exhaust over-temperature protection, three analog current inputs, and backup synchronization check protection.

This system includes three VPRO boards (triple redundant) responsible for controlling the trip solenoids through the TREG board, situated in a module separate from the turbine control system. The IS200VPROH2B features nine thermocouple inputs for exhaust over-temperature protection, complemented by three analog current inputs, and backup synchronization check protection. 

Physically, the IS200VPROH2B is equipped with two backplane connectors, two long, narrow female plugs positioned near and parallel to the front faceplate, and a vertical pin (male) ribbon connector situated on the rear edge. The front faceplate accommodates various connectors, including a single DIN connector and multiple multi-pin D-shell cable connectors. Additionally, a single female power plug is located on the front panel alongside several LED indicators. The board incorporates an onboard power supply generating 5 V dc and 28 V dc, sourced from the cabinet PDM, with connectors and indicators on the front panel clearly labeled for ease of use.
