Information About IS210DSCBH1A
The IS210DSCBH1A is a component manufactured by GE for their Mark VI system. The Mark VI is part of GE’s Speedtronic line and was created for the management of heavy-duty gas and steam turbine systems. It features triple modular redundant (TMR) architecture, which means the system is built with three separate and independent Control Modules, IONets, and power supplies. The MKVI also was built as a Simplex system for less complex turbines with single modules.
The IS210DSCBH1A is a Serial Communication Input/Output terminal board. This compact terminal board is not designed to work with a PSCA I/O pack. It is on-board noise suppression and is built with an onboard ID chip that will identify the board to the VSCA board for diagnostic purposes. Any mismatches of chips may cause a hardware incompatibility fault to occur.
The IS210DSCBH1A has a Euro-block terminal strip located on one side of the board. The other edge has a single cable connector (female) with 37 pins. Between these two components, the board is populated with lines of jumper switches (6) marked ‘SCOM,’ a line of capacitors (C2 through C8,) interspersed with resistors (R1 through R6,) and a row of resistors (R7 through 12.) The board has an additional two capacitors located on either side of the cable connector (C1 and C2.)
The IS210DSCBH1A is designed to be DIN-rail mounted and slid into place. It is held by a plastic holder that clamps around all four edges of the board. The board is 3.4 inches by 6.37 inches.
