Description
The IS215UCVEH2A developed by General Electric is a part of the Mark VI Speedtronic turbine series. It is known as a VMIC control card designed as a double-sided Circuit Board. It is populated with small capacitors and resistors that are used to house energy while the resistors are used to remove energy. This side of the Circuit Board is also using a large variety of integrated circuits that are various sizes and holds a certain amount of information that tells the board how to operate and what functions to perform. Additionally, the other side of the Circuit Board also features integrated circuits, capacitors of varying styles and resistors. It also features two lithium batteries and a microSD card along with all the connector terminals. The face of board features three lights at the top that are labeled STATUS as well as multiple ports of various shapes that are labeled accordingly.

The UCVE is available in multiple forms, UCVEH2 and UCVEM01 to UCVEM10. The UCVEH2 is the standard controller. It is a single-slot board using a 300 MHz Intel Celeron processor with 16 MB of flash memory and 32 MB of DRAM. A single 10BaseT/100BaseTX (RJ-45) Ethernet port provides connectivity to the toolbox or to other control devices. The UCVEM modules have all the features of the UCVEH2, and can also support additional Ethernet ports, as well as Profibus, ISBus, or DLAN interfaces. Some UCVEM_ _ modules support secondary 10BaseT/100BaseTX Ethernet ports for use on a separate IP logical subnet. Configuration of the secondary Ethernet port is performed through the toolbox. The controller validates its toolbox configuration against the existing hardware each time the rack is powered up. A separate subnet address allows the controller to uniquely identify an Ethernet port.
