The IS220PTCCH1A is a thermocouple input module manufactured by General Electric specifically designed for integration within the Mark VI/Mark VIe systems, advanced Speedtronic platforms developed for the management and control of gas, hydro, and steam industrial turbine systems. This module incorporates an internally housed BPPx processor board alongside an acquisition board dedicated to thermocouple input functionalities. 

Capable of deployment in simplex, duplex, and triple modular redundant (TMR) configurations, the IS220PTCCH1A supports a variety of thermocouple types including E, J, K, S, and T, as well as mV inputs spanning from -8 to +45 mV. Thermocouples of types E, J, K, S, and T may be either grounded or ungrounded and can be situated up to 984 feet away from the turbine I/O panel, with a maximum permissible cable resistance of 450 Ω.
