Available with both thermal magnetic and MicroLogic electronic trip protection units, this breaker offers thermal magnetic circuit protection specifically rated for a breaking capacity of 14kA at 600VAC.
Equipped with dual-break rotating contacts designed to mitigate peak current during short circuit faults, the PowerPacT J-Frame circuit breakers feature an integral push-to-trip button for manual operation located on the cover. These circuit breakers are adaptable for both 2 and 3-pole unit mount configurations as well as I-Line constructions, facilitating easy installation and removal in I-Line applications.
The JDA36225 unit is configured with I-Line terminations on the line side and mechanical lugs on the load side. It is specifically rated at 225A across its 3 poles, with a continuous current rating of 80% and an ABC phase connection.
