Information About LC1D80BD
The Schneider Electric LC1D80BD Contactor, part of the TeSys Deca Series, is specifically designed for motor control applications. TeSys D contactors are engineered for seamless integration into control systems and can serve as motor starters across various applications. With 13 contactor ratings available, they support inductive motor applications up to 150 full-load amps and resistive loads up to 200 amps.
This 80A inductive 3-pole IEC contactor offers versatile mounting options, including DIN rail and direct panel mounting. It features both Horsepower and kW motor ratings for international compliance. The contactor is rated for 25HP at 200 to 208VAC, 30HP at 240VAC, 60HP at 480VAC, and 60HP at 600VAC in three-phase systems. In single-phase setups, it supports 7.5HP at 115VAC and 15HP at 240VAC.
When paired with a 480VAC up to 150A circuit breaker, this contactor can achieve a Short Circuit Current Rating (SCCR) of up to 100kA. Similarly, when used with a 600VAC 175A Class J or CC fuse, it maintains the same SCCR rating.
Equipped with a 24VDC coil featuring a transient suppressor module, the contactor ensures reliable operation. Standard features include one normally open and one normally closed auxiliary contact, with the NC contact being mirror certified. Screw clamp terminals facilitate secure load and auxiliary connections.
