Product Description P/N: LUCB32FU
Description
The TeSys Ultra advanced control unit is designed for 3-phase motor applications up to 15kW@400V. It is intended to be integrated into advanced power bases LUB320, LUB380, and LUB380, forming a TeSys U starter controller. This control unit offers full motor protection with a rated current range of 8-32A (adjustable), overload tripping set at class 10, short circuit protection at 13 times Irmax, overcurrent protection at 14.2 times Ir, phase loss detection, and insulation fault protection (for equipment only). It features a thermal overload alarm for local use with an LUFDA module or remote use with an LULC module, along with a test push button for overload simulation. The control unit operates with a voltage range of 110-240V AC / 110-220V DC for controlling the starter via the control terminals A1/A2 located in the power base. It is certified for use with LUB power bases according to IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, and Marine standards, and is Green Premium compliant (RoHS/REACh).

Information About LUCB32FU
The TeSys U control and diagnostic unit is an advanced control unit designed for 3-phase motor applications ranging from 8A to 32A, compatible with 110-240VAC/DC coil inputs. It is engineered to integrate seamlessly into advanced power bases such as LUB320, LUB380, and LUB380, forming a TeSys U starter controller capable of handling motors up to 15kW@400V.
This control unit offers comprehensive protection and diagnostic features for motors within the 8-32A rated current range, with adjustable current settings. It operates with a class 10 overload tripping mechanism, ensuring swift response to overloads. In the event of a short circuit, the unit triggers protection at 13 times the maximum rated current (Irmax), while overcurrent protection activates at 14.2 times the rated current (Ir). Moreover, it detects phase loss and insulation faults, providing equipment protection.
Equipped with a thermal overload alarm, this unit facilitates local monitoring using a LUFDA module or remote monitoring via a LULC module. Additionally, it includes a test push button for overload simulation, aiding in system testing and diagnostics.
The TeSys U control and diagnostic unit operates with a voltage range of 110-240V AC / 110-220V DC for starter control through terminals A1/A2 located in the power base. When paired with a LUB power base, it meets certification standards set by IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, and Marine regulatory bodies. Furthermore, it adheres to Green Premium compliance standards (RoHS/REACh), ensuring environmental sustainability.
