The PowerLogic PM8000 series meters are compact and cost-effective multifunction power meters designed to ensure reliability and efficiency in power-critical facilities. These meters offer insight into complex power quality conditions, enabling proactive measures to mitigate issues. With a modular, flexible ION technology architecture, each meter can be customized to suit various applications. The series features patented Disturbance Direction Detection, providing revenue-grade accuracy and multiple communication ports. Certified by third-party labs for energy accuracy and power quality, the PM8000 series instills confidence in data quality.

Cybersecurity features include secure protocols such as HTTPS and SFTP, security event logging, and Syslog protocol. Users can enable/disable communication ports and configure up to 50 user accounts. The meters come equipped with 512 MB of memory to support 50 data logs, 50+ user-definable alarms, waveform captures, 1/2 cycle RMS logging, custom web pages, min/max logs, energy trends, and Time of Use. Events can be timestamped to +/-1 ms using time synchronization methods such as PTP (IEEE1588), NTP, IRIG-B, GPS ASCII (RS485), and network time set function.

The PM8000 series includes 3 digital inputs and one digital output, with the option to add up to 4 option modules. I/O option modules offer 2 relays and 6 digital inputs or 2 analog outputs and 4 analog inputs. The meters support a wide control power range of 90-415 VAC / 110-415 VDC. They operate in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C, with a humidity rating of 5% to 95%. The meters can function at altitudes up to 3000 m and are designed for panel mounting (1/4 DIN) with an integrated display.
