Description 

This Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation 5000 rpm MP low inertia premium servo comes with power requirements of 400 VAC. This compact brushless servo motor has no 24 DC brake installed and a stack length of 2 in. It can be connected by DIN style (circular) cable connections that come on top of this brushless servo motor. This smart motor is equipped with a multi-turn absolute encoder. Furthermore, this module comes with a shaft key, with no shaft seal installed on the servo if a shaft key is needed.

This motor does not come with a pre-applied shaft-seal. To avoid process material from penetrating the motor, the shaft seal must be applied. Appropriate shaft seal for this motor is MPL-SSN-A4B4.

The MPL-B420P-MJ72AA is a frame 4 drive which includes a keyed shaft extension, an IEC metric, a SpeedTEC DIN connector, 24 Volt DC brakes, and type FF mounting holes. With these specifications, these compact brushless servo motors meet the requirements of high-performance motion systems seamlessly. This MPL-B420P-MJ72AA low inertia servo motor has standard IEC 72-1 dimensions and improved winding insulation material for the proper heat transfer and enhanced thermal functioning. Furthermore, the DIN connector version of this MPL-B420P-MJ72AA low inertia motor allows flexible orientation of connectors and use of single cables with MP series motors. The winding technology of the MPL-B420P-MJ72AA yields up to 40% of higher torque per unit than the traditional servo motors. The MPL-B420P-MJ72AA series of servo motors is used with the Allen Bradley Kinetix 2000, 6000, and 7000, and Ultra 3000 drive families. These motors have an operating temperature of 0 to 40 degrees Celsius (or 32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit) and are applicable to all the CSA and UL standards. The MPL-B420P-MJ72AA can also be used as a component of the Kinetix safe-off feature.
