Information About PGA36120
The PGA36120 is a member of the PowerPacT P-Frame circuit breaker series, designed to safeguard electrical systems against damage from overloads and short circuits. These circuit breakers feature an electronic trip unit, specifically the fixed long time ET 1.0I, ensuring reliable operation under varying load conditions. Unlike Micrologic trip units which offer interchangeability in the field, the ET 1.0I provides stable performance without field interchange options.
Each PowerPacT P-Frame circuit breaker includes an integral push-to-trip button on the cover, facilitating manual tripping for maintenance or safety purposes. Available in configurations ranging from 2 to 4 poles, these circuit breakers support unit mount, I-Line, or drawout constructions to suit diverse installation requirements.
The PGA36120 is configured as a 3-pole unit with I-Line terminations on the line side and mechanical lugs on the load side. It operates at 1200A and is rated for a maximum voltage of 600VAC with an interrupting capacity of 18kA, ensuring robust protection against electrical faults. The continuous current rating of 80% with an ABC phase connection aligns with industry standards for reliable performance over extended periods.
