Information About S-67101-1
The S-67101-1 has the ability to facilitate communication between two or more AutoMax controllers on a network. It can send status and control information between the controllers. This card consists of a faceplate, protective case, and the PCB.
The S-67101-1 has the ability to plug directly into an AutoMax Multibus card storage rack assembly. It takes up only one slot on the rack and plugs into a card slot on the rack’s backplane. It can be further secured into place using the brackets on the card and two screws to connect it to the brackets on the rack.
On the faceplate of the S-67101-1 is a 7-segment LED indicator that displays the fault codes it detects within the card. Below that is a green OK LED that will glow when it doesn’t detect faults in the module. There are two number drop thumb switches that are just above the two main communications ports. One of the ports is a 25-pin RS-232 monitor port that is used for self-tests and to test the local network module status. The other port is a 9-pin RS-232 female port that is used for rack-to-rack network communications.
