Product Description P/N: SDX-751
Description
The NOTIFIER SDX-751 and CPX-751 are analog, addressable, low-profile (height measures only 1.66″/ 42.164 mm) smoke detectors designed for the NFS-3030, AM2020, AFP1010, NFS-640, AFP-400, AFP-300, AFP-200, and System 5000 (when equipped with an AIM-200 module). Because the SDX-751 and CPX-751 are addressable, the control panel can provide fire fighters with a pinpoint description of where the fire is located. The SDX-751 and CPX751 are also analog devices. The control panel is capable of not only knowing the detector’s location but exactly how much smoke is in the chamber of the detector. The detector may be set for different sensitivity settings appropriate to the environment of its location.

Information About SDX-751
Notifier SDX-751 Intelligent Photoelectric Smoke Detector is a plug-in type smoke sensor that combines a photoelectronic sensing chamber with addressable-analog communications. The sensor transmits an analog representation of smoke density over a communication line to a control panel. Rotary-decade switches are provided for setting the sensor’s address. Two LEDs on the sensor are control by the panel to indicate sensor status. An output is provide for connection to an optional remote LED annunciator.
The Notifier SDX-751 Intelligent Photoelectric Smoke Detector requires compatible addressable communications to function properly. Additionally, this sensor can be functionally test with a test magnet. In fact, the test magnet electronically simulates smoke in the sensing chamber, testing the sensor electronics and connections to the control panel.
A sensitivity test module socket is provide for checking sensitivity test module socket. This smoke detector is design to activate and initiate emergency action, but will do so only when it is used in conjunction with an authorized fire alarm system.
