The OCM-16 communicates with the compatible fire alarm control system through a Control Area Network (CAN) bus connection to the NIC-C. Two 10-position rotary switches allow the module address to be configured as a sub-address of the NIC-C. Any or all of the 16 outputs can be activated by CAN messages, while additional inputs support momentary lamp testing and local audible silence functions. The module can be installed remotely from the main fire alarm control panel in compatible REMBOX2, REMBOX4, or other approved enclosures.
