Description
The TM3AI8 is an analog input module belonging to the Modicon TM3 series, designed as expansion I/O modules compatible with Modicon M221, M241, M251, and M262 controllers. This module offers 8 inputs with 11bit + sign and 12bit resolution. It operates with a rated supply voltage of 24V DC, consuming 35mA at 5V DC via bus connector (no load), 45mA at 5V DC via bus connector (full load), and 30mA at 24V DC via external supply.
Capable of controlling variable speed drives or devices with current or voltage inputs, the module ensures safety with insulation between input and supply at 1500V AC and input and internal logic at 500V AC. It features removable screw terminals for electrical connections with 3.18mm pitch adjustment for inputs and supply, and it carries an IP20 rating.
Measuring 23.6mm (Width) x 70mm (Depth) x 90mm (Height) and weighing 0.11kg, the TM3AI8 is CE certified and complies with EN/IEC 61131-2 and EN/IEC 61010-2-201 standards.
