The R850V-8 is part of the Viconics R850V series of microcomputer-based step controllers for electric heating and other staging applications. It operates from 24 VAC and accepts standard 0–10 VDC, 4–20 mA, and 0–135 ohm control signals. The controller provides eight selectable stages with adjustable inter-stage timing and configurable LIFO or FIFO sequencing. Its vernier stage can provide either 0–10 VDC analog output for SCR control or a pulsed signal for SSR applications.
