Description 

The Eaton XTCE040D is a 3-pole contactor with a 40-amp rating for AC-3 (63 amp for AC-1) applications. It is capable of handling motors up to 15 horsepower at 230 volts and 30 horsepower at 460 volts in 3-phase configurations. This contactor is available with either an AC or DC rated coil, with the coil voltage being selectable. It supports front-mounted two or four-pole auxiliary contact blocks, as well as two-pole side-mounted auxiliaries, providing a total of 6 additional auxiliary contacts. Additionally, for comprehensive motor protection, the XTCE040D allows direct mounting of an XTOB overload on its load side (T1-T2-T3), providing Class 10 thermal motor protection and forming a complete starter setup.
